TYPE 3 FORK
Unique carbon adventure fork for gravel and off road riding.
Our type 3 fork was designed in house to fill the gap between regular gravel forks and rigid MTB options.
A regular gravel fork at around 395mm in length is limited to tyre clearance of about 50mm. The next jump up is usually to a suspension corrected, rigid MTB fork at around 480mm. This removes the tyre clearance limit, but leaves an ugly gap above the tyre, ruins the geometry on small frames and makes mudguard fitment difficult or not possible at all.
Our Type 3 fork comes in at 415mm, short enough to maintain clean gravel inspired lines, long enough to increase clearance up to a MTB size 29x2.4" tyre. It has the full set of features a gravel fork should - mudguard and bottle cage mounts, internal dynamo routing and light mount.

As a fork intended for serious off road use, we've had it independently tested to MTB standards and used a 15x110mm boost axle.

Though intended to complement our Beacon steel frame, the Type 3 is available separately to fit your existing frame. We also welcome enquiries from other manufacturers and bike builders who would like to use our fork.
